The above command removes the quarantine status and allows the app to run. The issue appears to be that the Gatekeeper system is quarantining the app which stops the system from running it. I have managed to fix the issue using the command below within the Terminal App: (and no, I'm not going to buy the Creative Cloud stuff, I legally OWN the CS 5.5 and it's working perfectly on my other Mac which came with El Capitan and which I upgraded to sierra a few weeks back) Is there any way? I've already tried what I found googling and worked for others (like the mentioned terminal command), but nothing helped, so far.
